THE NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY EXCELLENCE AWARD 2022-2023
• The National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award (NPQEA 2022/23) is organised by the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC).
• The NPQC is open to all organisations in the Republic of Mauritius
• All participants in each category will compete for a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award during a 2-day assessment on the 26th, 27th and 28th April 2023.
A site visit will be conducted at the seat of Gold Awardees in each category to select the Grand Winner.

PARTICIPATION AT THE NPQEA
• Entry to the NPQEA shall be made on the online prescribed registration form and submitted by the 17 February 2023
• Two entries are allowed by each participating organisation.
• Only projects implemented in 2021 - 2022 and first quarter of 2023 are eligible for participation.
• Registration sent after the registration deadline will not be considered. An incomplete registration form will not be considered.
• Providing false information and data will disqualify the participants.
• You will receive a notification of your participation at the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2022/23 by email after registration closes. You will be convened to the training sessions afterwards.
• Send your final presentation slides with a short script to the NPCC at least 1 week before the competition by latest the 14th April 2023.
• More than one participant can deliver the presentation bearing in mind that the time allocated for the presentation is 15 minutes and it will be an online presentation.
• Inform the organisers if you have any special presentation requirements other than PowerPoint such as: Video, Internet access or computer audio, etc.
• Failure to turn- up at your allocated timeslot will be interpreted as a withdrawal from the competition.
The judges’ decision shall be final. The NPCC shall not entertain any request/review related to the final jurors’ decision.

INFORMATION USE AND CONFIDENTIALITY
• The participants shall provide relevant information and data for assessment to persons officially appointed for that purpose and members of the jury.
• All information and data provided will be treated with strict confidentiality.
• We will seek your permission to publish the case studies presented at the Award.
• Winners shall grant the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) the right to publish their names and photographs.
• The participants shall allow the jury members access to visit their enterprises.
• Providing false information and data will disqualify the participants.

TROPHIES, CERTIFICATE AND PUBLICITY
• All participating organisations will receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award based on the results of the technical sessions or a certificate of participation.
• The participation of the Grand Winners at the ICQCC 2022/23 in China and at the African Kaizen Award will be confirmed at a later stage and subject to terms and conditions as defined by the NPCC.
• Winners shall grant the NPCC the right to publish their names and photographs.
• The winners may use the appellation and the logo of the Award for publicity and other commercial purposes.

GENERAL
• All entries shall become the property of the organiser and will not be returned.
• Participation in the NPQEA 2022/23 shall imply acceptance of the rules and regulations with regards to the Award.
• The National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) as organiser shall be the deciding authority on any matter not specifically covered under these rules and regulations.
