NPCC launches NLE 2024

The 2024 edition of the National Leadership Engine (NLE) was launched on Tuesday 27 February 2024. This initiative underscores the NPCC's firm commitment to nurturing a new generation of leaders who will serve as catalysts for positive change in the Mauritian society.

The NLE2024 represents a significant evolution in the approach to leadership development, introducing a new concept designed to empower youth across Mauritius. With the overarching goal of fostering a pipeline of capable leaders, NLE 2024 will be implemented at distinct levels, including individual online training, bootcamp sessions and project implementation.

At the individual online training level, participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering essential leadership competencies based on the Mauritius Leadership Brand, productivity concepts, personal competence, social competence, critical thinking, creativity and project management. These foundational skills are crucial for equipping our youth with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the modern world and drive meaningful change in their communities.

The centerpiece of the NLE2024 is the bootcamp training, where participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic learning environment led by experienced trainers, co-trainers and network facilitators. This intensive programme will focus on developing social competence, expanding the sphere of influence, harnessing the power of feedback, fostering creative problem-solving skills, nurturing trusted collaboration, and embracing the design thinking process. By equipping participants with these advanced skills, we aim to empower them to become effective leaders who can inspire and mobilise others towards shared goals.
